Our Story

The world is full of recruitment agencies. Our founder, Leigh Waring, questioned if it truly needed another one, but she knew that the industry required something different. Something more. In many ways, the recruitment model is outdated yet remains such a mystery to jobseekers and those unfamiliar with the process. Candidates are often left feeling burned-out and unimportant in a process that should be about them.

She approached the launch of CandidateNext with the imagination and vision to disrupt an old-school model. She thought about recruitment and candidate care that empowers and highlights the unique potential that we all bring.

For candidates: A Job Search System that pulls back the curtain on what happens behind the scenes of an interview process and creates confident candidates.

For employers:  A white-glove recruitment process that saves time and money.

Leigh has worked as an executive and corporate recruitment leader for top Fortune 250 companies for over 10 years and has helped thousands of candidates find jobs that would be rewarding for them. She developed a deep understanding of what separates the great candidates from the good ones and saw many situations where those great candidates lost out on a job because of avoidable missteps.

So, in following her passion to support jobseekers, the idea for CandidateNext was born, with the goal of enabling candidates to manage their job searches successfully while navigating the noise, stress, and curveballs that arise throughout the process.

CandidateNext is the first recruitment firm of its kind and follows a candidate-centric model. We aim to put well-prepped, confident, and ready-to-go candidates in front of our clients, the employers who seek to hire them.
